Hardangerfjord - the second largest fjord in Norway offers an unique experience for exploration. You can find your own way in between many small islands and at the same time see the snowy mountains of Folgefonna glacier. This opportunity to catch your fish and enjoy sunset while camping on one of many remote islands can not make your Norwegian fjord experience more special.

On this 2-day kayaking tour, you will get the best of what the Handarger fjord has to offer. Incredible views of mountains around Folgefonna national park, while paddling and wild camping in idyllic spots.
The tour starts with adjusting the kayaks and loading them with our gear - packing it into the dry bags, equipping yourselves with suitable clothes according to the weather. Then we are ready to paddle out from the port of Uskedalen towards Skorpo island where we search for nice sport to have a lunch. Our ultimate goal is to find an island for our wild camp. While enjoying the landscape with many small islands, we will teach you more about fishing and we can even try to catch a fish together (of course if you are interested in eating fish).
After landing on one of the islands, we will make a fire and cook the dinner. As the day is coming to the end, we enjoy the sun sunset, while making our tents ready for the night. The second day we start with breakfast and coffee. Then we can pack our equipment and start to head back. But do not worry, the fun is not finished yet! Also on our way back to Uskedalen we will explore many small bays and hidden beaches of the Ølveshovda coast.
(Note: in the pictures is depictued the fjord during an algae bloom and that is the reason for the light blue color. This is happening in May/June as the water gets warmer, this algae reproduces so fast that it can change the color of the water.)
