The tour starts with an introduction to the equipment, safety brief, adjusting the kayaks and basic paddle technique to make you comfortable before we launch the kayaks to the fjord. To explore the fjord in all its beauty, we begin to paddle from the hotel garden of Brakanes Hotel. Soon enough, you get a unique view of “the main fruit garden in Norway”: the village Ulvik. You will gaze at the small fruit farms which lay side by side. Can you spot the cherries, plums, apples and pears?
The tour will be adjuested, when you need to stretch your legs, your guide will take you to a beach, or another splendid spot for lunch. While you paddle you will learn more about the orchards, the history of Ulvik and surrounding nature. Kayaking can be quite an unwinding experience with light wind, but also be prepared for some more exercise in case small waves appear. Do not worry, your guide is always there to help!
Are you travelling off-season and want an out of the ordinary experience? Join us for a tour in the snowy, frozen landscape in a Norwegian fjord. Here you get to witness the winter wonders of Norway. Remember to wear warm clothes!
