“Norwegians are born with skis on their feet” they say. That might not be the 100% truth, but most of them learn how to ski from a very young age. If you have not tried it yet, or you want to improve your skills, we now invite you to come to the winter wonderland of Hardanger to discover the fun of cross-country skiing.

The day will be spent outside in the prepared ski tracks at Korevoll skistadium where you learn techniques and enjoy a lunch by the campfire. This course is suitable for beginners but also for those with some experience. Depending on your level, this introduction to cross-country skiing will teach you the basic techniques that you need to know to have an enjoyable cross-skiing experience. The focus can be on everything from how to put the skis on, how to move, how to fall and get back up. If you are more advanced you can learn more about diagonal skiing and proper use of the ski poles, called poling and double poling.

You do not need to have any previous experience with cross-country skiing to join this tour. The course will be adjusted to the level that is right for the participants. Please inform your guide of any medical conditions that might impact you during the tour or in an emergency.
